External Connections84Copying your Recordings to an ExternalVideo RecorderYou can copy your recordings byconnecting the camcorder to a VCR ora digital video device. Video output willbe in standard definition, although theoriginal scenes are in high definition.ConnectingConnect the camcorder to the VCRusing connection type or , asshown in the previous sectionConnection Diagrams ( 81).Recording1 Connected device: Load a blankcassette or disc and set the deviceto record pause mode.2 This camcorder: Locate the sceneyou wish to copy and pauseplayback shortly before the scene.3 This camcorder: Resume themovie playback.4 Connected device: Beginrecording when the scene youwish to copy appears.
