You can load those settings at a later date or on another C300 or C300 PL camcorder so that you canuse that camcorder in that same exact way.Saving Camera Settings to an SD Card1 Open the [Save To *] submenu.[w Other Functions] > [Transfer Menu//] > [Save To *]2 Select [Menu] or [Menu+/] and then press SET.• Selecting [Menu] will save menu settings and [Menu+/] will savemenu and custom picture settings.3 Select [OK] and press SET.• The current settings are saved to the SD card. If the SD card already has camera settings on it, they will beoverwritten.4 When the confirmation screen appears, press SET.Loading Camera Settings from an SD Card1 Open the [Load From *] submenu.[w Other Functions] > [Transfer Menu//] > [Load From *]2 Select [Menu] or [Menu+/] and then press SET.• Selecting [Menu] will load menu settings and [Menu+/] will loadmenu and custom picture settings.3 Select [OK] and press SET.• After the camcorder’s current settings are replaced with the settings saved on the SD card, the screen willturn black momentarily and the camcorder will restart.NOTES• The SD card includes a text file that lists the camera settings. You can check the settings by using a USB cardreader to access the SD card on a computer. In the “PRIVATE\CAMSET” folder, open the file “CAMSET3.TXT”.• When loading camera settings from an SD card, even protected custom picture files in the camcorder will bereplaced.• For your protection, when the camcorder’s settings are saved on an SD card, the following settings under[w Other Functions] > [Wi-Fi Remote] are not saved: the encryption key/WEP index key in the wireless LANsetup of each of the configuration files [No. 1] to [No. 5] and the password in the camcorder settings.• Only camera settings from other C300 / C300 PL camcorders can be used with this camcorder.Operating modes:[w Other Functions][Transfer Menu//][Save To *][w Other Functions][Transfer Menu//][Load From *]COPY
