Clip/Photo Operations138NOTES• A clip cannot have both an $ mark and % mark at the same time. When you add a % mark to a clip with an$ mark, the $ mark will be deleted. Similarly, when you add an $ mark to a clip with a % mark, the %mark will be deleted.Deleting $ Marks or % Marks1 Select the desired clip in the [XF-AVC] index screen.2 Press SET (clip menu) and select [Delete $ Mark] or [Delete % Mark] > [OK].• The selected mark is deleted.Adding Shot MarksDuring the playback of a primary clip recorded in XF-AVC format, you can add shot marks (!) to particularframes in the clip that you want to single out. To add a shot mark to a clip during playback or playback pause,you must set an assignable button to [Add Shot Mark] in advance.1 Set an assignable button to [Add Shot Mark] (A 119).2 Select the desired clip in the [XF-AVC] index screen and press the Ò button.3 During playback or playback pause, press the assignable button at the point in the clip where youwant to add the shot mark.• [Shot Mark] will appear briefly and the shot mark will be added to the current frame of the clip.• Adding a shot mark to a clip during playback will pause the playback.Deleting All the Shot Marks from a Clip1 Select the desired clip in the [XF-AVC] index screen.2 Press SET (clip menu) and select [Del. All Shot Marks] > [OK].• All shot marks in the selected clip are deleted.Deleting Clips and PhotosYou can delete clips and photos you are not interested in keeping, except for XF-AVC clips with an $ mark. Todelete such clips, delete the $ mark beforehand (A 138).1 Select the desired clip or photo in the index screen.2 Press SET (clip/photo menu) and select [Delete Clip] (clips) or [Delete] (photos) > [OK].• The clip or photo is deleted.• The operation cannot be canceled.3 When the confirmation message appears, press SET.IMPORTANT• Be careful when deleting recordings. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered.
