While e-mail is being transmitted or i-fax istransmitted/received, the communication withthe SMTP server encountered a timeout errorbecause of a factor associated with the mainserver.1. Check to see that SMTP is operatingnormally.2. Check the condition of the network.While an SMTP connection is being used, theSMTP server has returned an error.The address setting is not correct.When data is transmitted to the file server, anerror has occurred owing to a factor associatedwith the server.1. Check to see if SMTP is operating normally.2. Check the condition of the network.3. Check the address setting.4. Check the condition of the file server and thesetting.An attempt has been made to transmit data to anaddress not authorized for a write operation.Check the address setting.In the course of transmitting data (file server),it was found that there is a file having the samename, and an overwrite operation to the file isprohibited.Change the setting of the file server so thatoverwriting may be permitted.In relation to transmission (file server), thefolder name or the password that has beenspecified is wrong.Check the address setting.# 802In the system control setup (user mode), thesettings of the SMTP server for e-mail/i-fax arewrong.The setting of the DNS server is wrong.The attempt to connect to the DNS server hasfailed.In the network settings under system controlsettings (user mode), check the SMTP servername and the DNS server name. Check to see ifthe DNS server is operating normally.# 803Before all pages have been transmitted, thetarget has cut off the network.Try once again.# 804When an attempt is made to transmit to the fileserver, it has been found that no match exits inthe specified directory.Check the address.You are not authorized for access to the folder.
