Those symbols along withtheir meanings are shown below.DANGERThis symbol indicates information that, if ignored or appliedincorrectly, creates the danger of death or serious personalinjury.WARNINGThis indication stipulates matters that have the risk ofcausing death or serious injury if the product is operatedincorrectly while ignoring this indication.CAUTIONThis indication stipulates matters that have the risk ofcausing injury as well as matters for which there is thelikelihood of occurrence of physical damage only if theproduct is operated incorrectly while ignoring thisindication.Symbol ExamplesThis triangle symbol ( ) means that the usershould be careful. (The example at left indicateselectrical shock caution.)This circle with a line through it ( ) means thatthe indicated action must not be performed.Indications within or nearby this symbol arespecifically prohibited. (The example at leftindicates that disassembly is prohibited.)The black dot ( ) means that the indicatedaction must be performed. Indications withinthis symbol are actions that are specificallyinstructed to be performed. (The example at leftindicates that the power plug must be unpluggedfrom the electrical socket.)Alkaline BatteriesPerform the following steps immediately if fluidleaking from alkaline batteries ever gets intoyour eyes.1. Do not rub your eyes! Rinse them withwater.2. Contact your physician immediately.Leaving alkaline battery fluid in your eyes canlead to loss of sight.Smoke, Strange Odor, OverheatingContinued use of the product while it isemitting smoke, a strange odor, or heat createsthe risk of fire and electric shock. Take thefollowing steps immediately.1. Turn off power.2. If you are using the AC adaptor for power,unplug it from the wall outlet.3. Contact your original retailer or anauthorized CASIO Service Provider.AC Adaptor Misuse of the AC adaptor creates the risk offire and electric shock. Always make sureyou observe the following precautions.• Be sure to use only the AC adaptor that isspecified for this product.• Use only a power source whose voltage iswithin the rating marked on the ACadaptor.• Do not overload electrical outlets andextension cords. Misuse of the AC adaptor’s electric cord candamage or break it, creating the risk of fireand electric shock.
