E-43Synthesizer ModeUse the following procedure to select a preset tone andchange its parameters to create a user tone.1. First, select the preset tone you want to use as abasis for your user tone.2. Press the SYNTH button.• This enters the Synthesizer Mode, which is indicatedby the pointer next to SYNTH on the display screen.1 Parameter setting value2 Currently selected parameter3. Use the [ ] and [ ] CURSOR buttons to displaythe parameter whose setting you want to change.• Each press of the [ ] or [ ] CURSOR buttonschanges to the next parameter. Use [+] and [–] to change the setting of thecurrently selected parameter.• You can also use the number buttons to input a valueto change a parameter setting.
