E-56Song Memory Function738A-E-058APlaying Back from Song MemoryOnce you record tracks to song memory, you can play themback to see what they sound like.To play back from song memory1 Use the SONG MEMORY button to enter playbackstandby, and then use the number buttons to selecta song number (0 to 4).• The above song number screen remains on the displayfor about five seconds. If it disappears before you havea chance to select a song number, use the [] CURSORbutton to re-display it.2 Press the START/STOP button to playback the songyou selected.• You can use the TEMPO buttons to adjust the playbacktempo.• Press the START/STOP button again to stop playback.NOTE• You can play along on the keyboard using layer (pageE-65) and split (page E-66) during playback.• Pressing the START/STOP button to start playback fromsong memory always starts from the beginning of thesong.• The entire keyboard functions as a melody keyboard,regardless of the MODE button setting.To turn off a specific trackPress the SONG MEMORY TRACK button of the track youwant to turn off, or use the Mixer (Page E-40) to turn off thechannel of the track.P l a yPlayback standbySong numberRecording Melody and Chordswith Step RecordingWith step recording, you can record Auto-Accompanimentchords and notes, and even specify note lengths one by one.Even those who find it difficult to play along on the keyboardwith an Auto-Accompaniment can create Auto-Accompaniments based on their own original chordprogressions.
