SiBE31-801_C Outline of Control (Indoor Unit)Function 118Heating When heating, the hot air rises to the top of the room, resulting in the temperature being lowernear the floor where the occupants are. When controlling by suction air thermistor in indoor unitonly, the unit may therefore be turned off by the thermostat before the lower part of the roomreaches the set temperature. The temperature can be controlled so the lower part of the roomwhere the occupants are does not become cold by widening the range in which roomtemperature thermistor in remote controller can be used so that suction air temperature ishigher than the set temperature. Ex: When heating Assuming the set temperature in the figure above is 24°C, and thesuction air temperature has changed from 18°C to 28°C (A → D):(This example also assumes there are several other air conditioners, the VRV system is off, andthat temperature changes even when the thermostat sensor is off.)Suction air thermistor in indoor unit is used for temperatures from 18°C to 25°C (A → C).Room temperature thermistor in remote controller is used for temperatures from 25°C to 28°C(C → D).And, assuming suction temperature has changed from 28°C to 18°C (D → A):Room temperature thermistor in remote controller is used for temperatures from 28°C to 23°C(D → B).Suction air thermistor in indoor unit is used for temperatures from 23°C to 18°C (B → A).Set temperature (Ts)323028262422°CSuction air temperature (TH1)TH1 = Ts – 1TH1 = Ts + 1 ≤ 31°CTH1 = Ts + 12 ≤ 33°CTH1 = Ts + 10 ≤ 31°CA B C D°C201816Range in which room temperaturethermistor in remote controller canbe usedRange in which suctionair thermistor in indoorunit can be used Differential12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28 30 32 34
