14ENGLISHThe preset stations can be recalled using the number buttons on the remote control unit.Also, if the following operation is performed when the system power is off, the power automatically turns on and theradio is played. (Auto on function)Listening to Preset Stations(This operation is only possible from the remote control unit.)1 Press the TUNER button on the remote control unit.2 Press button “3” on the remote control unit.TUNER3 When the station name is preset,station name is displayed.Example: Listening to the station preset at number 3• When the station name appears in the display, each press of the PANEL button on the remote control changes thedisplay between preset number, band, and frequency.Using the RDS functions(This operation is only possible from the remote control unit.)1 Press the BAND button and set the FM AUTO.2 Press the RDS button.BANDRANDOMRDSReceiving RDS broadcasts (FM only)3 Press the TUNING • or ª button. (auto tuning) TUNING TUNING4 The station is tuned in.“RDS” flashes“RDS” flashesProgram service name“RDS” lights after 5 seconds of flashing.Once the station is tuned in, “RDS”flashes for 5 seconds and the programservice name is displayed.NOTE: If no RDS station is found, “ NO PROG ” is displayed.1 Press the RDS button twice.2 Press the PTY button to select the type of program.(One of the 15 types listed below can be selected.)RANDOMRDSPTY Search3 Press the TUNING • or ª button.
