When set,parental controls read the rating of the program (withsome exceptions, such as news and sports) and denyaccess to programs that exceed the ratings level youselect. To watch programs that exceed the selectedrating, you must enter the password.Setting or changing the passwordTo set or change the password:1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with thePicture menu displayed.2 Press or to highlight Settings. The Settingsmenu opens. Press or ENTER/ to access themenu.3 Press or to highlight Parental Controls, thenpress ENTER/ .4 The Enter Password screen opens. If you are adding apassword, use the number buttons to enter 0000.
