Setting parental controls 29DX-19LD150A11For the MPAA rating, press or to highlight therating you want to block, then press ENTER/ . Thatrating and all other higher ratings are blocked. Lockicons appear next to all locked ratings.8 Press EXIT to close the menu.Blocking unrated TVNot all TV programs have a rating signal. You can block allunrated programs from displaying on your TV/DVDcombo.To block unrated TV:1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with thePicture menu displayed.2 Press or to highlight Settings. The Settingsmenu opens. Press or ENTER/ to access themenu.3 Press or to highlight Parental Controls, thenpress ENTER/ .4 The Enter Password screen opens. Use the numberbuttons to enter your password.5 The Parental Controls sub-menu opens. Press or to highlight Block Unrated TV, then press or toselect On.6 Press EXIT to close the menu.Viewing blocked contentYou can temporarily cancel the parental controlrestriction you have placed on your TV/DVD combo.To view blocked content:1 Tune to the blocked program you want to watch.2 On the warning message indicating the blockedcontent, use the number buttons to enter yourpassword.3 To turn parental controls back on, do one of thefollowing:• Change channels• Change the video input source• Turn off your TV/DVD combo, then turn it backon.Locking control buttonsYou can lock the TV control buttons on the left side ofyour TV/DVD combo.
