The CEAG 3-PM modules are thereforean important part of the safety system.If one phase fails, the CEAG 3-PM module switches arelay contact and interrupts the 24 V current loop (ACU DGterminals IN 1 to IN 8) to the emergency lighting units. Allemergency lights in standby mode are switched to conti-nuous light. A second relay contact (change-over contact1,2,3) is used to signal the mains failure. E30 wiring of the24V current loop is not required for installation across firecompartments, as the emergency lighting is automaticallyswitched on in the event of a first fault in the 24V currentloop of a suitably designed system in the event of an inter-ruption or short circuit.The easily accessible test button offers the advantage thatan interruption of the mains voltage is not necessary tocheck the function of the voltage monitoring devices.
