If your system has been programmed to then you can “omit” theaffected zone beforehand (see page 36 for instructions on how to omitzones before setting the system). Note that there may be more than onezone with a fault. The display changes every three seconds to show eachactive zone.Other Reasons Why the System May Not SetThere are several other events that can show fault warnings on the keypadand prevent your system from setting. Your Installer may haveprogrammed your system to allow you to override the fault warnings andcontinue setting. Alternatively, you may need to call the Installer to rectifythe fault first. In addition, the faults that you are allowed to override in aSecurity Grade 2 system may require an Installer’s assistance in a SecurityGrade 3 system.The table below shows the keypad message for each fault, what themessage means, and who can override the fault in either a Security Grade2 or Grade 3 system.Override by:Message Meaning Grade 2 Grade 3 A Hold Up Alarm device isstill active.
