SERVICING - WARNINGDisconnect from electricity and gas before servicing. Check appliance is safe when you have finished.21d) Remove the tap. Remove and discard the gasket seal.Fit new gasket seal to replacement tap.e) Re-assemble in reverse order. Check the appliance isgas sound. Check hotplate ignition.9 To Change an Ignition SwitchChange the gas tap as detailed in Section 8.10 To Remove a Hotplate Burner Injectora) Remove the hotplate as detailed in Section 1.b) Remove the injector directly from the burner body.c) Fit the appropriate injector.d) Re-assemble in reverse order. Check the appliance isgas sound.11 To Remove a Hotplate Burner SparkElectrodea) Remove the pan supports, hotplate accessories andburner heads.b) Undo the bezel venturi and remove the bezel from thehotplate. The spark ignition wire will be pulled throughthe electrode clearance hole.c) Disconnect the spark electrode from the ignition wire.NoteTake care to prevent the ignition wire from falling backthrough the clearance hole.d) Undo the spark electrode from the bezel by removingthe spring clip and spring.e) Fit the replacement electrode to the burner bezel.Ensure that the spring and clip are properly located.f) Replace in reverse order and check correct burnerignition.12 To Remove a Hotplate Burnera) Remove the pan supports, hotplate accessories andburner heads.b) Remove the hotplate as detailed in Section 1.c) Remove the nut that secures the burner body to thesupport channel.d) Remove the fi xings that secure the support channel tothe chassis. Lift the channel clear of the appliance.e) Undo the compression fi tting which connects theburner body to the gas pipe. Remove the burner bodyfrom the appliance.f) Replace in reverse order. Check the appliance is gassound and that the burner operates satisfactorily.13 To Remove the Oven Doora) Open the oven door.b) Rotate hinge locking disc 90° clockwise on both doorhinges to lock door in open position.c) Carefully close door and at approximately half closedthe hinges will release themselves from the cookerframe.d) Re-assemble in reverse order.14 To Remove the Oven Outer Door Panela) Remove the door from the cooker (see section 13).b) Remove screws holding the outer panel to the door.c) Remove the outer door panel.d) Undo the nuts that secure the handle to the doorpanel. Fit the handle to the replacement door panel.e) Fit the replacement panel to the oven inner doormaking sure that the door insulation is correctlylocated.f) Re-assemble in reverse order.15 To Remove the Oven Door Seala) Open oven door. The seal is held in place by smallhooks on the rear face. At the corner pull sealdiagonally away from the door centre until that hook isreleased.b) Proceed to the next hook and release it in a similarway, and so on. Use force if the hooks are stiff, as theold seal will be discarded.c) Hook the new seal in one of the corner holes of thedoor, and proceed round the door opening snappingin each hook in turn.16 To Remove the Hotplate Electrode LeadsDisconnect from the electricity supply.Pull the unit forward to access the rear of the appliance.a) Remove the pan supports, hotplate accessories andburner heads.b) Remove the hotplate as detailed in Section 1.c) Remove the cover box and disconnect all HT leads atthe generator.d) Pull the sleeved bundle of HT leads up through therear upright.e) Pull the appropriate lead from the sleeve and push inthe replacement.f) Replace the leads in the rear upright.g) Re-connect the leads at the generator.h) Re-assemble in reverse order and check ignition.17 To Remove Spark Generatora) Isolate from electric supply.b) Lower front mobility wheels (see section ‘MOBILITYWHEELS’ in Users instructions) and pull cookerforwards to gain access to the rear of the cooker.CAUTION: DO NOT STRAIN FLEXIBLE GASCONNECTION disconnect if necessary.c) Remove mains cable inlet cover, 8 screws.d) Disconnect electric cables to generator.e) Remove two screws securing generator mountingbracket to cooker frame and carefully withdrawgenerator suffi ciently to disconnect electrode leads.f) Re-assemble in reverse order.
