All otherservicing should be referred to a qualifiedtechnician.• Teach children not to play with the controlsor any other part of the oven.• Never leave the oven door open when youare not watching the oven.• Always keep dish towels, dish cloths, potholders and other linens a safe distance fromyour oven.• For your safety, never use your appliance forwarming or heating the room.• Always keep wooden and plastic utensilsand canned food a safe distance away fromyour oven.• Keep the oven free from grease buildup.• Always keep combustible wall coverings, curtainsor drapes a safe distance from your oven.• DO NOT STORE OR USE COMBUSTIBLEMATERIALS, GASOLINE OR OTHERFLAMMABLE VAPORS AND LIQUIDS INTHE VICINITY OF THIS OR ANY OTHERAPPLIANCE.• Do not let cooking grease or other flammablematerials accumulate in or near the wall oven.• Do not use water on grease fires. Smother fireor flame or use a multi-purpose dry chemicalor foam-type fire extinguisher.Flame in the oven can be smotheredcompletely by closing the oven doorand turning the oven off or by using amulti-purpose dry chemical or foam-typefire extinguisher.• Do not use aluminum foil to line ovenbottoms, except as suggested in this manual.Improper installation of aluminum foil mayresult in a risk of electric shock or fire.• Cook meat and poultry thoroughly—meat toat least an INTERNAL temperature of 160°Fand poultry to at least an INTERNALtemperature of 180°F. Cooking to thesetemperatures usually protects againstfoodborne illness.• Before performing any service, DISCONNECTTHE OVEN POWER SUPPLY AT THEHOUSEHOLD DISTRIBUTION PANEL BYREMOVING THE FUSE OR SWITCHINGOFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.• Do not store flammable materials in the oven.IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE• The California Safe Drinking Water andToxic Enforcement Act requires the Governorof California to publish a list of substancesknown to the state to cause cancer, birthdefects or other reproductive harm, andrequires businesses to warn customers ofpotential exposure to such substances.• The fiberglass insulation in self-cleaningovens gives off a very small amount of carbonmonoxide during the cleaning cycle. Exposurecan be minimized by venting with an openwindow or using a ventilation fan or hood.• IMPORTANT: The health ofsome birds is extremely sensitive to the fumesgiven off during the self-cleaning cycle of anyoven.
