Using the self-cleaning oven.After a Clean CycleYou may notice some white ash in theoven. Wipe it up with a damp cloth afterthe oven cools.If white spots remain, remove them witha soap-filled steel wool pad and rinsethoroughly with a vinegar and watermixture.These deposits are usually a salt residuethat cannot be removed by the clean cycle.If the oven is not clean after one cleancycle, repeat the cycle.You cannot set the oven for cooking oranother self-clean cycle until the oven iscool enough for the door to unlock.While the oven is self-cleaning, you cantouch the CLOCK pad to display the timeof day. To return to the clean countdown,touch the SELF CLEAN pad.If the racks become hard to slide,apply a small amount of cooking oilto a paper towel and wipe the edgesof the oven racks with the paper towel.O FFA RRÊTS TARTDÉPARTS ELF C LEANA UTONETTOYERHow to Delay the Start of CleaningTouch the SELF CLEAN pad.A 3-hour self-clean time isrecommended for use when cleaningsmall, contained spills. A self-cleantime of 5 hours is recommendedfor a dirtier oven.If a time other than 5 hours or 3 hoursis needed, use the number pads andenter the desired clean time.You can change the clean time to any timebetween 3 hours and 5 hours, dependingon how dirty your oven is.Touch the START TIME pad.Using the number pads, enter the timeof day you want the clean cycle tostart.Touch the START pad.The door lock automatically. The cooktopelements are also locked out duringself-clean. The display will show the starttime.
