Removehot pans.Wearing an oven mitt:a. Use a single-edge razorblade scraper (CERAMA BRYTE®Ceramic Cooktop Scraper)to move the spill to a coolarea on the cooktop.b. Remove the spill with papertowels.Any remaining spillover should beleft until the surface of the cooktophas cooled.Don’t use the surface units againuntil all of the residue has beencompletely removed.NOTE: If pitting or indentation in theglass surface has already occurred, thecooktop glass will have to be replaced.In this case, service will be necessary.Damage from Sugary Spills and Melted PlasticSugary spillovers (such asjellies, fudge, candy, syrups)or melted plastics can causepitting of the surface of yourcooktop (not covered by thewarranty) unless the spillis removed while still hot.Special care should betaken when removing hotsubstances.Be sure to use a new, sharprazor scraper.Do not use a dull or nickedblade.Be careful not to slide pots andpans across your cooktop.
