The receptacle is amicro-USB Type B connector, as shown in Figure 48 below. Data logs and otherinformation from the transmitter’s embedded storage can be uploaded to a PC viathe USB port. In addition, the transmitter’s configuration files can be changeddirectly via the USB port.Figure 48: Transmitter USB Connector (Left Side)2.6.7 Using the Bluetooth Wireless InterfaceThe PT900 comes equipped with an internal Bluetooth transceiver that enableswireless communication between the transmitter and Bluetooth-enabled tablets.The transmitter can then be configured by the PT900 APP software installed on atablet connected via the wireless Bluetooth interface. For more information on theAPP, see Chapter 3, Initial Setup.2.7 Caring for the PT900 BatteriesThe PT900 comes with a self-contained, built-in, rechargeable battery pack tosupport portable operation. For optimum performance, these batteries require aminimum of maintenance.CAUTION! Use only GE-approved batteries and desktopchargers, which are designed to maximize battery life. Usingother batteries or chargers voids your warranty and may causedamage to the equipment.CAUTION! For CE compliance, the PT900 is classified as abattery-powered device, and it is not to be operated with the ACpower adapter connected.
