Lateral modes acquire and track the selected navigation source (GPS,VOR, or LOC), depending on the loaded approach. Press theAP NAV Softkey when the CDI is greater than one dot to arm the selected modes(annunciated in white). Press the AP NAV Softkey when the CDI deviation is lessthan one dot to activate, capture and track the selected navigation source (GPS, VOR,or LOC).
