Obstacles 200 feet and higher are included in the obstacledatabase. It is very important to note that not all obstacles are necessarily charted andtherefore may not be contained in the obstacle database. This database is updated ona 56-day cycle.TERRAINNOTE: The data contained in the terrain and obstacle databases comes fromgovernment agencies. Garmin accurately processes and cross-validates thedata, but cannot guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the data. The terrain database is updated periodically and has no expiration date.UPDATING G3X DATABASESNOTE: The databases are stored internally on each GDU. When updating asystem with multiple GDUs, each GDU will need to be updated individuallyusing the same SD card. The G3X database updates can be obtained by visiting the ‘flyGarmin’ website(www.fly.garmin.com). The ‘flyGarmin’ website requires the unit’s System ID to updatedatabases. This allows the databases to be encrypted with the unit’s unique System IDwhen copied to the SD Card.Obtaining the System ID:1) Press the MENU Key twice to access the Main Menu.2) Select ‘System Setup’ and press the ENT Key.System Setup PageOr:
