Replacing hot-swap fansThe server comes with four hot-swap fans: two front fans (fans 1 and 2), and twocenter fans (fans 3 and 4). You do not have to turn off the power to the server toreplace a hot-swap fan.If the server is equipped with the IBM xSeries 670-Watt Hot-swap Power-Supplyoption, two rear fans (fans 5 and 6) must also be installed on the server.
