Line up the equipment on the level area. Fix with the material included. Use the in-closed spacer and set up the equipmenthorizontal.1 Dowel pin M10 (4x)2 Unterlegplatte 5 mm (4x) Unterlegplatte2 mm (4x)3 Washer 10,5 (4x)4 Hexagon screw M10 (4x) Place the exhaust nozzle from outsideon the roof and fasten it from inside us-ing the enclosed screws. Install the outside thermostat, that it isprotected from direct sun light warmwalls and air flow. Connect the inclosed cable in the con-trol circuit board ( refer to pwer flowplan). Install the swinging spacer according tothe enclosed installation instruction onthe left side of the equipment. Lead the high pressure hose throughthe sidewall of the equipment and con-nect with the high-pressure pump. Connect the high-pressure hose withthe blowing gun. Connect the steel pipe brush with theblowing gun. Tighten all clamping nut. remove the brief instructionfrom the in-struction manual, and fix it inside thedoor of the circuit control board. WARNINGObserve regulations of water supplier.According to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA.Water flowing through a system separatoris considered non-drinkable.CAUTIONAlways connect the system separator tothe water supply, never directly to the appli-ance!Note:Impurities in the inlet water can damage thesystem. Kärcher recommends the use of awater filter (see "accessories").ATTENTIONRisk of damage to the plant if water supplyis not of suitable quality. The system mustonly be supplied with water in drinking wa-ter quality.Quality requirements for tap water:For connection values refer to technicalspecifications. Insert the inlet hose from the bottomthrough the plant opening and connectit. DANGERRisk of electric shock!The mains must be connected by an expe-rienced electrician and the requirements ofthe IEC 60664-1 must be fulfilled.The plant must be secured through a wrongcurrent protection switch with a triggeringcurrent lesser than or equal to 30 mA. Remove the 4 knurled scrwes from theroof. The screws can be loosened fast-er when you press the roof from the top. Push the chimney pipe upward until theconnection to the burner has been loos-ened. Push the roof towards the door until itprotrudes out of the casing on the oppo-site side. Remove the roof upward. Caution! Donot damage the chimney Connect the wire to the electrical switchcabinet.Note:After completion, check the electrical con-nection for right rotary field. Check the rotation direction of the highpressure pump. With correct directionof rotation a strong airflow can be feltout of the exhaust opening of the burn-er. DANGERElectrical hazard. Setting may only be doneby an electrician. Determining the hardness of tap water:– through the public water supply works,– Using hardness testing set, order no.6.768-004. Open the switch box at the operatorpanel.1 Speed potentiometer Locate the local water hardness in thediagram. Extend the vertical line upward until thecurve for the corresponding point hasbeen reached. Draw a horizontal line from the intersec-tion and read the setting value (A). Adjust the speed potentiometer to thevalue that you have ascertained (A).Example: For a water hardness of 15 °dHon the scale for the SS wash 5/10, set thespeed potentiometer to position 7. This re-sults in a pause of 40 seconds, i.e. the so-lenoid valve will open briefly every 40 sec-onds. Close the switch box at the operatorpanel.
