Position detection, positioning and angular synchronous operation are not supported.Channel 1 supports a standard incremental encoder interface. Channel 2 can processin different versions incremental encoders, tacho generators, initiators or +/-10 Vsignals.Units with integrated encoder interface are registered according to the following code:XX.F4.CXX-XLXXVersion number ( starts with 0 )Interface type ( see table Interface Types )L ( code letter for integrated encoder interface )4 ( Special unit 400V )5 ( Special unit 230V )Interface Type Channel 1 Channel 2 Separate Supply *)0 encoder interface Tacho input yes1 encoder interface encoder interface yes2 encoder interface +/- 10V input yes3 encoder interface Initiator yes*) Separate supply means, that control inclusive encoder interface are supplied withenergy from an external voltage source. Thus status and error messages are storedeven when disconnecting the power circuit.Customer-specific units maydeviate from this code!Fig. 6.10.1 Encoder summary Housing size D and EFrom housing size G upwardsEncoder interface with tacho inputEncoder interface with tacho inputEncoder interface with 2nd encoderEncoder interface with 2nd encoderEncoder interface with ±10V inputEncoder interface with ±10V inputEncoder interface initiatorEncoder interface mit initiator
