It is integrated in the KEB frequency inverter andpermits the fastest data transfer from the InterBus to the frequency inverter. The 15-pole D-Sub connector CN1 represents the input terminal, via CN2 the next periphery buselement is connected. If this controller board is the last in the segment, then CN2remains free. Depending on the bus terminal used up to 8 inverters or other InterBusmodules can be connected per periphery bus. The connecting cables are supplied indifferent lenghts complete with connector. The voltage supply for the host controller board is taken from the corresponding busterminal (connection remote bus/periphery bus) via the periphery cable. Thus theInterBus is ready for communication and operation even if the supply voltage of theinverter is missing. (In case of missing operating voltage of the host controller boardthe InterBus or the bus segment concerned is disconnected.) The bus interface of thehost controller board is isolated from the inverter by optocouplers.CN1 Periphery bus input (D-Sub 15 male)CN2 Periphery bus output (D-Sub 15 female)S1 Position A = PCP-Mode (factory setting)Position B = IO-ModeLD1 (green) Operating voltage inverter on. Lighs up, when no voltage is suppliedto the inverter or when the inverter is still in the initialization phase.LD6 (yellow) Connection established. Lights up, when the PCP-connection to thehost is established.LD7 (red) Communication not synchronized.
