When the daisy chain is established, thebrackets around the displayed characters light as shownbelow.If the MAIN-SUB SWITCH of two or more units are setto the same position, the daisy chain function indicatorsof the overlapping units blink.When the above makes it necessary to change the positionof one or two switches, be sure to unplug the power cordof each changer unit from the wall outlet in advance.The changer units can be remote controlled from aremote.The changer unit to be remote controlled can beselected as follows.MAIN buttonPress to remote control the changer unit that has beenset to the “MAIN” unit.SUB 1 buttonPress to remote control the changer unit that has beenset to the “SUB 1” unit.SUB 2 buttonPress to remote control the changer unit that has beenset to the “SUB 2” unit.MAIND.C.Lights up÷ The “ACTIVE” indicator of the changer unit thatcan currently be remote controlled lights up, thenits DVD indicator lights.5-6-2 Features available with daisy chainconnection (RELAY PLAY mode)Discs are played back in order from “MAIN” to “SUB1”and “SUB2”.Up to 1200 discs can be played back continuously.÷ DVD-VIDEO discs and the discs in the PLUS1 toPLUS3 slots are not included in RELAY PLAY.The RELAY PLAY has the following sub-modes.RANDOM RELAY modeA track in each of the up to 1200 discs is played backby selecting discs in a random order.÷ The DVD-VIDEO discs, discs in the PLUS1 toPLUS3 slots and discs containing MP3 files areskipped and the next disc will be played.USER FILE RELAY modeThe discs registered as “user file” in the changer unitsare played back continuously in the normal order.÷ The DVD-VIDEO discs and discs in the PLUS1 toPLUS3 slots are skipped and the next disc will beplayed.USER FILE RANDOM RELAY modeThe discs registered as “user file” in the changer unitsare played back in a random order.÷ The DVD-VIDEO discs, discs in the PLUS1 toPLUS3 slots and discs containing MP3 files areskipped and the next disc will be played.5-6-3 Operation procedurea : RANDOM RELAY mode/USER FILE RELAY mode(Enter stop mode before proceeding.)Press the MAIN button on the remote so that the“ACTIVE” indicator in the display of the “MAIN”changer unit lights up.1.
