110 Keysight N5990A MIPI M-PHY Receiver Test User Guide4 CalibrationsWhen the DSGA is used, two calibrations are required at each data rate:one for Data0 and another one for the other channels. The calibration forData0 includes the switch. For the other channels, Data1 is calibratedwithout the switch.ProcedureThe pattern generator data outputs are connected to the DSO channelsand a Reference ISI board is connected in between. It sweeps RJ valuesfrom the Min. Jitter Value and increases using a Step Size value until theMax. Jitter Value is reached. In this calibration setup, a 1/30 UI TIE (TimeInterval Error) high pass filter is applied by the oscilloscope to isolate theshort term jitter components. At each step, the actual values of randomjitter are measured and both set and measured random jitter values arestored.Connection DiagramRefer to the connection diagrams shown in the Connection Diagramsection of the ISI (w/Switch) Calibration test.ParametersThe parameters used in Expert Mode for this calibration, are as follows:• Lane Under Test Termination Mode• Oscilloscope Bandwidth• Amplitude• Min Jitter Value• Max Jitter Value• Step Size\• Scope RJrms• Use Infiniisim• Transfer Function Chan• Filter Delay Chan2• Max Time Span Chan2These parameters are listed in alphabetical order in Table 6.DependenciesNo calibration is required for this procedure.
