126 Keysight N5990A MIPI M-PHY Receiver Test User Guide4 CalibrationsWhen the DSGA is used, two calibrations are required at each data rate:one for Data0 and another one for the other channels. The calibration forData0 includes the switch. For the other channels, Data1 is calibratedwithout the switch.ProcedureThe generator data outputs are connected to the DSO and a ISI board isconnected in between. The BERT sends a CJTPAT pattern. The data generator does a sweep ofthe SJ amplitude between the given Min. Jitter Value and the Max. JitterValue. Each jitter value is calibrated for several frequency points (given bythe “Frequency Range” and “Additional Jitter Frequencies” parameters). Ateach step, the actual value of jitter amplitude, measured with the DSO,and the set value are stored.Connection DiagramRefer to the connection diagrams shown in the Connection Diagramsection of the ISI (w/Switch) Calibration test.ParametersThe parameters used in Expert Mode, for this calibration are as follows:• Lane Under Test Termination Mode• Oscilloscope Bandwidth• Amplitude• Min Jitter Value• Max Jitter Value• Step Size• Frequency Range (MHz)• Additional Jitter Frequencies (MHz)• Jitter Calibration File• Use Infiniisim• Transfer Function Chan2• Filter Delay Chan2• Max Time Span Chan2These parameters are listed in alphabetical order in Table 6.
