150 Keysight N5990A MIPI M-PHY Receiver Test User Guide5 HS TestsProcedureThe data generator sends Burst-mode CJTPAT signaling while the DUT isconfigured for Terminated-mode.In Compliance Mode, the data generator sets the calibrated differentialvoltage amplitude to the minimum (60mV) and maximum (245mV)conformance values for the Terminated case. The common mode voltageis fixed to the nominal value (150mV) according to the specification. Noother signal impairments (ISI or Jitter) are added. At each step, the BER ismeasured and compared with the Target BER to consider the pass/failresult.In Expert Mode, the differential voltage component of each Level Pair istested over the given Amplitude Range. In this case, the result will showthe minimum and maximum differential voltage values at which the DUTworks properly and the test will pass if those values are within the speclimits. This test is performed for all selected HS gears and lanes (see Figure 86).In Unipro Test Mode, with the option “Lane Test Mode” set toSimultaneously, the different lanes are tested in parallel for each gear.Connection DiagramFigure 87 to Figure 90 show the connection diagrams for the differentsystem configurations.NOTE The connection diagrams shown are for Gear1. They are the same forGear2 and Gear3 but vary in the TTC value (G1: 250ps; G2: 125ps; G3and G4: 60ps).
