Keysight N5990A MIPI M-PHY Receiver Test User Guide 197HS Tests 5ProcedureThe data generator sends Burst-mode CJTPAT signaling while the DUT isconfigured for Terminated-mode. In Compliance Mode, the differentialvoltage amplitude and the common-mode are set to the nominal values(200mV). In Expert Mode, two Level Pairs are tested, the differentialvoltage amplitude is set to the minimum (60mV) and maximum (245mV)conformance values while the common-mode is kept to the nominal value(150mV). It must be performed using the maximum f OFFSET value of +2000ppm. No other signal impairments such as the ISI channel or the jittersources are added to the signal. The duration of HS-Prepare Length (THS-PREPARE) value is measured in SI(symbol interval), where 1 SI = 10 HS and its value is calculated as given inTable 30. This T HS-PREPARE length is tested over the given HS-PrepareRange (see Figure 120). At each step, the BER is measured and comparedwith the Target BER to consider the pass/fail result. The DUT must be ableto successfully receive bursts whose PREPARE length is within +/- 1UI ofthe calculated THS-PREPARE.This test is performed for all selected HS lanes and gears. It is onlyrequired for the Terminated case. In Unipro Test Mode and with the option“Lane Test Mode” set to Simultaneously, the different lanes are tested inparallel for each gear.Table 30 HS-Prepare Length ValuesConnection DiagramRefer to the connection diagrams shown in the Connection Diagramsection of the Test 2.1.1- HS-RX Differential Input Voltage Amplitude Testtest.NOTE The +/-1 UI tolerance is specified to allow any natural measurementtolerance variation.Parameter Name Parameter Value Parameter UnitHS_PREPARE_Length 0 to 15 N/aTHS-PREPARE HS_PREPARE_Length* 2 (GEAR-1) SI, 1 SI=10UI
