Also dispose ofthe power cord provided with the server to avoid diversion to some other devices.IMPORTANT: For disposal (or replacement) of the battery on the mother board ofthe server, consult with your service representative. It is the user's responsibility to completely erase or modify all thedata stored in storage device so that the data cannot be restored. The server contains some components that are only good for a limited period of time andrequire replacement. For stable operation of the server, NEC recommends you replacethese components on a regular basis. Consult with your service representative forreplacement or the product lives.WARNINGDo not remove the battery.The server contains the lithium battery. (Some option devices contain lithiumbattery, nickel cadmium battery, or nickel hydrogen battery.) Do not removethe battery. Placing the lithium, nickel cadmium, or nickel hydrogen batteryclose to a fire or in the water may cause an explosion.When the server does not operate appropriately due to the dead lithiumbattery, contact your service representative. Do not disassemble the server toreplace or recharge the battery by yourself.
