98 Shooting Controls❚❚ Adjusting 7 (Selective Color) SettingsTo adjust settings, select 7 in special effects mode and thenpress J.1 Select colors.• Press J to view selective coloroptions.• Frame an object of the desired colorin the white square at the center ofthe display.• To zoom in on the center of thedisplay for more precise color selection, tap the X button.Tap the W button to zoom out.• Press 1 to choose the color of the object in the whitesquare as one that will be recorded in color whenphotographs are taken; the selected color will appear in thefirst of the numbered color boxes.• All colors other than those selected in the color boxes willappear in black and white.2 Choose the color range.• Press 1 or 3 to increase or decreasethe range of similar hues that will beincluded in photographs; choosefrom values between 1 and 7.
