Do not touch the glass surface of thelens or use excessive force.To remove the hood, unscrew it from thelens.❚❚ Using Built-in Flash Units• Shadows will be visible in photos where the light from thebuilt-in flash is obscured by the lens or lens hood. Remove thelens hood before shooting. Note, however, that even if thehood is removed, shadows may still be visible at some focallengths and subject distances.• The focal lengths at which built-in flash units can be used varywith the camera; see the camera manual for details. The flashmay be unable to light the entire subject at focal lengthsshorter than those specified.
