Failure to observe thisprecaution could damage the card.• Do not bend, drop, or subject to strong physical shocks.• Do not expose to water, heat, high levels of humidity, or directsunlight.• Do not format memory cards in a computer.D No Memory CardIf no memory card is inserted, a “no memory card” indicator and [–E–]will appear in the shooting display.A The Write Protect SwitchSD memory cards are equippedwith a write protect switch toprevent accidental loss of data.When this switch is in the “lock”position, the memory card cannotbe formatted and photos cannotbe deleted or recorded (a warning will be displayed in the monitor ifyou attempt to release the shutter). To unlock the memory card, slidethe switch to the “write” position.Write-protect switch
