316 Menu Guide > B The Setup MenuChoose the pitch and volume of the beep that sounds when:• The self-timer is in operation• Time-lapse recording ends• The camera focuses in photo mode (note that a beep will notsound if AF-C is selected for focus mode or if AF-A is selected andthe camera is shooting using AF-C)• The touch screen is usedNote that a beep will not sound while the self-timer is inoperation or when the focuses if On is selected for Silentphotography in the photo shooting menu.The Beep options menu contains the following items:• Beep on/off: Turn the beep speaker on or off, or select Off (touchcontrols only) to disable the beep during keyboard entrywhile enabling it for other purposes.• Volume: Adjust beep volume.• Pitch: Choose the pitch of the beep from High and Low.Adjust settings for monitor touch controls.• Enable/disable touch controls: Select Disable to prevent accidentaluse of touch-screen controls, or Playback only to enabletouch-screen controls in playback mode only.• Full-frame playback flicks: Choose whether the next image in full-frame playback is displayed by flicking left or by flicking right.Beep OptionsG button ➜ B (setup menu)Touch ControlsG button ➜ B (setup menu)
