337Menu Guide > N The Retouch MenuThis option is used to correct “red-eye” and is available only withphotographs taken using a flash. The photograph selected forred-eye correction can be previewed in the edit display. Confirmthe effects of red-eye correction and press J to create a copy.Note that red-eye correction may not always produce theexpected results and may in very rare circumstances be appliedto portions of the image that are not affected by red-eye; checkthe preview thoroughly before proceeding.Create a straightened copy of theselected image. Press 2 to rotate theimage clockwise by up to five degrees inincrements of approximately 0.25degrees, 4 to rotate it counter-clockwise(the effect can be previewed in the editdisplay; note that edges of the image will be trimmed to create asquare copy).
