101Shooting ControlsAuto ISO Sensitivity ControlIn modes P, S, A, and M, auto ISOsensitivity control can be enabled ordisabled by holding the S button androtating the sub-command dial. Whenauto ISO sensitivity control is enabled,ISO sensitivity will automatically beadjusted if optimal exposure cannot beachieved at the value selected with theS button and main command dial. Toprevent ISO sensitivity going too high,you can choose an upper limit of fromISO 200 to Hi 2 using the ISO sensitivitysettings > Maximum sensitivity item in the photo shootingmenu.When auto ISO sensitivity control isenabled, the shooting display will showISO AUTO. When sensitivity is altered fromthe value selected by the user, thealtered value is shown in the display.D Auto ISO Sensitivity ControlIf the ISO sensitivity selected by the user is higher than that chosen forMaximum sensitivity when auto ISO sensitivity control is enabled,the value selected by the user will be used instead.
