33Cancelling call forwardingStandard methodTo cancel call forwarding, you must get the call forwardingcancellation code from your service provider.1 Dial the code for cancelling call forwarding (for example,*710).2 Press &DOO.Menu methodYou can save the code for cancelling call forwarding andthen use the menu to cancel call forwarding. See ‘Addingfeature cancellation codes to the menu’ on page 29.1-touch dialingThis feature allows you to make phone calls quickly andeasily with the touch of a button. Once you have assigned aphone number to a number key (2 through 8), you can pressand hold that key to dial the number. (You can also press thenumber key briefly and then press &DOO.)Note: Keys 1 and 9 are used exclusively for dialing your voicemailbox and for attempting emergency calls, respectively(see ‘Voice messages’ on page 45 and ‘Emergency calls’ onpage 27).Assigning numbers to keysBefore you can assign a phone number to a key, the phonenumber must be saved in your phone book (see page 17).Then follow the steps below.1 Press 0HQX 1 6.2 Scroll to the desired key, then press $VVLJQ.3 Press or to choose the name you want to assignto the selected key, then press 6HOHFW.
