All rights reserved. 25■ Message settingsText and SMS e-mailThe message settings affect thesending, receiving, and viewing oftext and SMS e-mail messages.Select Menu > Messages > Messagesettings > Text messages and fromthe following options:Sending profile — If more than onemessage profile set is supported byyour SIM card, select the set youwant to change.The following options may beavailable: Message centre number(delivered from your serviceprovider), Messages sent via,Message validity, Default recipientnumber (text messages) or E-mailserver (e-mail), Delivery reports, Usepacket data, Reply via same centre(network service), and Renamesending profile.Save sent messages > Yes — Set thephone to save the sent textmessages in the Sent items folder.MultimediaThe message settings affect sending,receiving, and viewing multimediamessages.Select Menu > Messages > Messagesettings > Multimedia msgs. andfrom the following options:Save sent messages > Yes — to setthe phone to save sent multimediamessages in the Sent items folderDelivery reports — to ask thenetwork to send delivery reportsabout your messages (networkservice)Scale image down — to define theimage size when you insert an imageto a multimedia messageDefault slide timing — to define thedefault time between slides inmultimedia messagesAllow multimedia reception > Yes orNo — to receive or to block themultimedia message. If you select Inhome network, you cannot receivemultimedia messages when outsideyour home network.Incoming multimedia messages >Retrieve, Retrieve manually, orReject — to allow the reception ofmultimedia messages automatically,manually after being prompted, or toreject the receptionConfiguration settings >Configuration — Only theconfigurations that supportmultimedia messaging are shown.Select a service provider, Default, orPersonal config. for multimediamessaging. Select Account and amultimedia messaging serviceaccount contained in the activeconfiguration settings.
