See “Configuration”, p. 41.To activate the settings for the e-mailapplication, select Menu >Messaging > Message settings >E-mail messages and from thefollowing options:Configuration — Select the set thatyou want to activate.Account — Select an account providedby the service provider.My name — Enter your name ornickname.E-mail address — Enter your e-mailaddress.Include signature — You can define asignature that is automatically addedto the end of your e-mail when youwrite your message.Reply-to address — Enter the e-mailaddress to which you want the repliesto be sent.SMTP user name — Enter the name thatyou want to use for outgoing mail.SMTP password — Enter the passwordthat you want to use for outgoing mail.Display terminal window — Select Yesto perform manual user authenticationfor intranet connections.Incoming server type — Select POP3 orIMAP4, depending on the type ofe-mail system that you use. If bothtypes are supported, select IMAP4.Incoming mail settings — Selectavailable options for POP3 or IMAP4.Font size and smileysSelect Menu > Messaging > Messagesettings > Other settings. To changethe font size for reading and writingmessages, select Font size. To replacecharacter-based smileys withgraphical ones, select Graphicalsmileys > Yes.■ Message counterSelect Menu > Messaging > Messagecounter for approximate informationon your recent communications.
