If youhave saved data on the remote Internetserver, to synchronize your phone, startthe synchronization from your phone.To synchronize the data in the phonecontacts, calendar, and notes tocorrespond with the data of yourcompatible PC, start thesynchronization from the PC. Thecontact data in your SIM card is notsynchronized.Answering an incoming call duringsynchronization ends thesynchronization, and you must restartit.Server synchronizationBefore synchronizing from your phone,you must do the following:• Subscribe to a synchronizationservice. For details, contact yourservice provider.• Retrieve the synchronizationsettings from your service provider.See “Synchronization settings”,p. 51.To start the synchronization from yourphone, do the following:1. Select the configuration settingsyou need for the synchronization.See “Synchronization settings”,p. 51.2. Select Menu > Organiser > Sync >Server sync > Data to besynchronised. Mark the data to besynchronized.3. Select Menu > Organiser > Sync >Server sync > Synchronise.The marked data of the active set issynchronized after confirmation.Synchronizing for the first time or afteran interrupted synchronization maytake up to 30 minutes to complete,if the contacts or calendar are full.Synchronization settingsYou may receive the configurationsettings required for synchronizationas a configuration message from theservice provider.
