If you have defined several mailboxes, for example aPOP or IMAP e-mail and Mail for Exchange, select one ofthem as your default mailbox. That mailbox is usedevery time you start composing a new e-mail message.To define the default mailbox in Messaging, selectOptions > Settings > E-mail > Default mailboxand the mailbox.E-mail in home screenTo select the mailbox that is shown in the home screen,select Menu > Tools > Settings > General >Personalisation > Home screen > Modesettings > Home screen applications > E-mail 1notification > Mailbox and the e-mail account.To check that the mailbox that you selected can beshown in the home screen, select Menu > Tools >Settings > General > Personalisation > Homescreen > Mode settings > Home screenapplications > Enabled applications and E-mail 1notification or E-mail 2 notification.Mail for ExchangeWith Mail for Exchange, you can receive your work e-mail to your device. You can read and reply to your e-mails, view and edit compatible attachments, viewcalendar information, receive and reply to meetingrequests, schedule meetings, and view, add, and editcontact information.ActiveSyncUse of the Mail for Exchange is limited to over-the-airsynchronisation of PIM information between the Nokiadevice and the authorised Microsoft Exchange server.Mail for Exchange can be set up only if your companyhas Microsoft Exchange Server. In addition, yourcompany's IT administrator must have activated Mailfor Exchange for your account.Before starting to set up Mail for Exchange, ensure thatyou have the following:• A corporate e-mail ID• Your office network user name• Your office network password• Your network domain name (contact yourcompany's IT department)• Your Mail for Exchange server name (contact yourcompany's IT department)Depending on your company's Mail for Exchange serverconfiguration, you may need to enter otherinformation in addition to those listed. If you do notknow the correct information, contact your company'sIT department.With Mail for Exchange, the use of the lock code maybe mandatory.
