To retrieve e-mail messages automatically, selectOptions > E-mail settings > Automaticretrieval. See "Automatic retrievalsettings", p. 137.Setting the device to retrieve e-mail automaticallymay involve the transmission of large amounts ofdata through your service provider's network.Contact your service provider for information aboutdata transmission charges.Delete e-mail messagesPress , and select Messaging and a mailbox.To delete the contents of an e-mail message fromthe device while still retaining it in the remotemailbox, select Options > Delete. In Delete e-mail from:, select Phone only.The device mirrors the e-mail headings in theremote mailbox. Although you delete the messagecontent, the e-mail heading stays in your device. Ifyou want to remove the heading as well, you mustfirst delete the e-mail message from your remotemailbox, then make a connection from your deviceto the remote mailbox again to update the status.To delete an e-mail from the device and the remotemailbox, select Options > Delete > Phone andserver.To cancel deleting an e-mail from the device andserver, scroll to an e-mail that has been marked tobe deleted during the next connection , andselect Options > Restore.Disconnect from the mailboxWhen you are online, to end the data connection tothe remote mailbox, select Options >Disconnect.Mail for ExchangeWith Mail for Exchange, you can receive your worke-mail to your Nokia N96. You can read and reply toyour e-mails, view and edit attachments, viewcalendar information, receive and reply to meetingrequests, schedule meetings, and view, add, andedit contact information. Mail for Exchange can beset up only if your company has Microsoft ExchangeServer.
