In the UMTS network, data connectionsremain active during voice calls.You can also use a WLAN data connection. Only oneconnection in one wireless LAN can be active at atime, but several applications can use the sameinternet access point.To establish a data connection, an access point isrequired. You can define different kinds of accesspoints, such as the following:● MMS access point to send and receive multimediamessages● Internet access point (IAP) to send and receive e-mail and connect to the internetCheck the type of access point you need with yourservice provider for the service you want to access.For availability and subscription to packet dataconnection services, contact your service provider.Access pointsCreate a new access pointPress , and select Tools > Settings >Connection > Destinations.You may receive access point settings in a messagefrom a service provider.
