1. In the contacts list, select a contact.2. Select Options > Defaults.3. Select a default to which you want to add anumber or an address, and select Assign.4. Select a number or an address you want to setas a default.The default number or address is underlined in thecontact card.Add ringing tones forcontactsPress , and select Contacts.To define a ringing tone for a contact or a contactgroup, do the following:1. Press the scroll key to open a contact card or goto the groups list, and select a contact group.2. Select Options > Ringing tone. A list of ringingtones opens.3. Select the ringing tone you want to use for theindividual contact or the members of theselected group.When a contact or group member calls you, thedevice plays the chosen ringing tone (if the caller’stelephone number is sent with the call and yourdevice recognises it).To remove the ringing tone, select Default tonefrom the list of ringing tones.Copy contactsWhen you open Contacts for the first time, thedevice asks if you want to copy names and numbersfrom the SIM card to your device.To start copying, select OK.If you do not want to copy the SIM contacts to yourdevice, select Cancel. The device asks if you want toview the SIM contacts in the contacts directory. Toview the contacts, select OK. Contacts opens, andyou can see names stored on your SIM card markedwith .SIM servicesFor availability and information on using SIM cardservices, contact your SIM card vendor. This may bethe service provider or other vendor.SIM contactsTo add the names and numbers stored on the SIMcard to the contacts list in Contacts, selectOptions > Settings > Contacts to display > SIMmemory.
