Reports and Displays Guide 25March 2005 Working with reportsWhere reports are storedIntroductionAll reports are located on the client PC. Therefore, if you create a user-definedreport on one PC and then log on to the server on another PC, the report will notbe in the Reports window on the second PC. Similarly, if you import a user-created report on one PC, and then log on to the server on another PC, the user-created report will not be in the Reports window.User-defined reports and user IDWhen you save a user-defined report, your user ID is stored with it. Only thecreator has access to the report. If another user logs on to Symposium ExpressCall Center on the PC on which the report is stored, he or she cannot see thereport in the Reports window.Note: If multiple users log on to the same client PC, they must assign uniquenames to any reports they created. For example, if one user creates a reportnamed ìDaily Agent Report,î the other users cannot create a report with thesame name.User-defined reports and serverWhen you save a user-defined report, the name of the server is stored with it.The report is available only when you log on to the server on which you createdit. If you have more than one server, and you create a report on one server, thatreport will not appear in the Reports window when you log on to another server, even if you log on using the same user ID.
