Thissection provides a procedure for creating reports in Crystal Reports. The sectionalso provides generalized instructions for creating reports in other applications.Note: Only reports created in Crystal Reports can be imported and scheduled.Creating reportsCreate a report by performing these steps:1. Run the Database View Definitions report to identify the views to be usedin the report.2. Verify the server connection (if you are using Crystal Reports).3. Create a new report.4. (Optional) Create database aliases for database views (if you are usingCrystal Reports).5. Import a user-created report (if you are using Crystal Reports). When youimport a report, it is added to the Reports window. You can scheduleimported reports and modify their data range and output options.Database viewsA database view is a logical representation of part of the database and therelationships within that part. You use database views to access statistics andother data for use in reports.Many historical statistics are available for different periods, including interval(15-minute), daily, weekly, and monthly. For each period, you use a differentview to access the statistics. For example, to access daily skillset statistics, youuse the dSkillsetStat view. To access monthly skillset statistics, you use themSkillsetStat view.
