Table 40 contains descriptions of how each timer works.Table 40 Special System Timers4.8.5 Waterflow Circuits OperationIf an alarm exists from a monitor module point that has a Waterflow type code, theALARM SILENCE key will not function.4.8.6 Disable/Enable OperationDisabled input points do not cause an alarm or any Control-by-Event activity. Thecontrol panel does the following:• Holds all disabled output points in the off-state• Handles all disabled points as troubles, but displays DISABL in the status banner.4.8.7 Style 6 OperationThe control panel will detect a trouble in an SLC wired and programmed for Style 6 orStyle 7 and drive both ends of the line to maintain communication over the SLC. Thetrouble latches and displays on the control panel as a Style 6 trouble type until you pressthe SYSTEM RESET key on the control panel. Style 7 requires use of ISO-X modules.4.9 Read Status4.9.1 OverviewRead Status functions do not require a password. The control panel continues to providefire protection while in Read Status. You can enter Read Status while in Fire Alarm orTrouble mode. If a new alarm or trouble occurs during Read Status functions, thecontrol panel automatically exits Read Status.Timer Duration If selectedSilence Inhibit 0-300 seconds Starts at first alarm and restarts with each newalarm. Disables the ALARM SILENCE key.Auto Silence 600-900seconds(0=no timerselected)Automatically shuts off outputs selected assilenceable after the programmed time elapses.To restart the timer, press the DRILL key.AlarmVerification0-30 seconds The control panel ignores an FSI or FSP smokedetector for the Alarm Verification time. If anotherpoint alarm occurs during the Alarm Verificationtime, the control panel dumps the timer andactivates the alarm. If a time-out and an alarmexist, the initiating device CBE executes allstandard functions.
