48 Clip Management: Thumbnail and Clip Management1. Display statusDisplay status indicates the type of thumbnailsdisplayed on the screen.➝For details on how to change display, refer to“Switching the type of information that is displayed”(page 51).2. Record modeIndicates the record mode of the clip at the cursorposition.3. System formatIndicates the recording format of the clip at the cursorposition.4. DurationIndicates the length (duration) of the clip at the cursorlocation and the rough location of current playback.When resume is set to on (➝ Refer to “Setting items todisplay” (page 52)) and the playback start position isnot the beginning of the clip, the rough location of theplayback position is displayed.5. Selected number of clipsIndicates the number of selected clips and the totalnumber of clips.6. Time displayThe following data is displayed: the TC (time code)/UB(user bit) at the start of clip recording/time of shooting/day of shooting/date and time of shooting/clip name/the user clip name/slot number.➝Refer to “Setting items to display” (page 52).7. ThumbnailShows the thumbnails recorded for each clip. TheEXCH.THUMBNAIL function allows you to replace thisthumbnail.➝Refer to “Thumbnail Editing” (page 54).8. Clip no.Indicates the numbers assigned to P2 card clips,which are normally assigned starting in order from theearliest shooting date. Numbers of clips that cannotbe played back are shown in red. Proxy indicatorIndicates that a clip contains a proxy attached usingthe AJ-HPX2700, AJ-HPX3700 or other camera.This unit cannot record proxies.11. Text memo indicatorIndicates a clip that contains text memo data.12. Edit Copy indicatorIndicates an edit-copied clip.13. Wide indicatorIndicates a clip recorded in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Thisis not indicated for an HD format clip.14.
