21 (E)Setting the functions Setting the movement rangeof the remote camera (limiterfunction)This unit has a limiter function which is a function that limitsthe movement range of the remote cameras.There are four limiter positions: the upper, lower, left andright limits of the movement range.When the AW-HE50 is used:Depending on the nature of the AW-HE50’s installationlocation, there may be some subjects inside its movementrange which it is not desirable or necessary to shoot.In cases like this, the shooting range of the AW-HE50 canbe limited by setting limiters in front of those subjects whichare not to be shot.When any other remote camera is used:Depending on the installation position, there may be anobstruction in the movement range, and the remote camerasmay come into contact with this obstruction.If the remote cameras come into contact with an obstruction,trouble or accidents may result.In cases like this, a limiter can be set in front of theobstruction to prevent contact. Setting the upper limitFrom the [SETUP] menu, select [PTZ ADJ] and display[LIMIT UP]. Then set the upper limit.The setting that is displayed differs between the AW-HE50and other remote cameras.Display that appears with the AW-HE50The current setting status is displayed in the LIMIT UP item.2.LIMIT UPOff2.LIMIT UPOnTurn the F2 dial, and then pressit.Display that appears with other remote camerasThe setting status is displayed after the completion of thesetting in the LIMIT UP item.2.LIMIT UPEXEC2.LIMIT UPLIMIT ONPress the F2 dial. Setting the lower limitFrom the [SETUP] menu, select [PTZ ADJ] and display [LIMITDOWN].
