18VQT2J40Watching TelevisionBasic operationsThis DVD recorder supports analoguebroadcasting, digital terrestrial broadcasting andCATV broadcasting with H.264/MPEG-4 AVC andMPEG-2 codec. But HD broadcasts are down-converted to SD video when this unit receivesthem.Preparation1 Turn on the television and select the appropriate AV input to suitthe connections to this unit.2 Press [Í] to turn the unit on.1 Press [W X CH] to select the channel.Everytime you change the channel of digital broadcasts,digital channel information appears automatically.≥You can also select the channel with the numbered buttons.Press the numbered buttons and press [OK].Selection of channel is made easy by creating a Favourite of thechannels you watch often.
